Meet our Santa Monica, CA Dentists Dr. Amanda Maldonado

Dr. Amanda Maldonado was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She attended Eastern Arizona College where she played college softball for two years before transferring to Jacksonville State University to continue her Division I career. It was at JSU where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.

Her passion for dentistry began in 2014, working as a dental assistant on Ramstein Air Force base. Amanda would continue her education and graduate from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2022. Following dental school, she completed a one-year General Practice Residency at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. During her residency, Dr. Maldonado received advanced training in all aspects of dentistry as well as complex treatment planning, surgery and serving medically compromised patients.

Dr. Maldonado moved to Los Angeles in 2023 with her husband of ten years and two dogs; Evie and Nala. She is excited to be a part of the family of Santa Monica Dentists and looks forward to providing exceptional dental care to our community.
